Introducing B2Trader v1.1: BBP Prime, Enhanced Reporting & Customisation, and iOS Support

The B2Trader team is thrilled to reveal the latest enhancements to our B2Trader Brokerage Platform (BBP), now updated to version 1.1. This significant upgrade introduces the BBP Prime feature, broadens the scope of reporting functionalities, and enables more adaptable customisation of layout templates.

Additionally, the B2Trader ecosystem now includes a bespoke BBP iOS mobile application. This app is a key component of our comprehensive turnkey solution, providing seamless integration with the B2Core CRM and boasting a user-friendly trading interface tailored for iPhone users.

Prime Brokerage Platform – BBP Prime

This latest release introduces BBP Prime, empowering our platform to function as a prime brokerage hub for other B2Trader brokerage platforms. This system allows linked platforms to manage their funds efficiently on BBP Prime, which then coordinates balance management across associated broker accounts and liquidity providers (LPs).

BBP Prime oversees brokers’ account balances, processes incoming orders, channels these to LPs via B2Connect, and manages trade execution, supported by our custom FIX gateway.

New Template Constructor for Admins

We’ve enhanced template customisation with a new constructor tool that provides BBP administrators with the flexibility to craft personalised workspace layouts. This includes a default preset that activates when traders first log into the trading terminal. Administrators can now import pre-saved layouts, export their bespoke template settings, and store up to 10 custom configurations. This feature is easily accessible within the Settings menu.

Enhanced Reporting for Comprehensive Oversight

Our update expands the B2Trader platform’s reporting capabilities, helping brokers gain a detailed insight into platform activities. A new report type allows admins to track active accounts over specific periods, offering a valuable resource for monitoring exchange or brokerage growth. All reports are now centrally located under a newly introduced Report button, streamlining the reporting process.

Advanced Account Management

Version 1.1 makes selecting accounts straightforward from the Trading terminal’s top bar. Changing profiles updates the widget displays to relevant account information instantly. This is particularly advantageous for users managing multiple accounts, simplifying their monitoring and management.

Revolutionised Workspace Management with Tabs

Our latest update introduces a tabbed interface for customisable workspaces, allowing traders to open up to 10 tabs and manage several trading environments concurrently. Traders can utilise broker-provided layouts or design their own, enhancing the efficiency and organisation of their trading activities.

New BBP iOS App — Enhancing Our Turnkey Package

Mobile trading has been on a steady rise, with 58% of revenue share in the global trading markets in 2022 coming from mobile platforms alone, according to the Stock Trading and Investing Applications Market report. This trend is expected to continue as the sector is projected to reach $150 billion by 2032 from $39.8 billion in 2023, the same report notes. 

With 6.8 billion smartphone users worldwide, smartphones are clearly becoming integral to trading activities. That’s why modern brokers cannot afford to be without a dedicated mobile version of their trading platform if they want to remain competitive in the industry.

In line with this trend, we have expanded the BBP turnkey package with an iOS app, version 1.0, which comes with all the desktop trading functionalities for optimal mobile experience. A robust web trading platform and a dedicated mobile trading application equip brokers with a complete trading package to offer their clients.

Seamless Authentication with B2Core

The BBP iOS application is tightly integrated with the mobile version of the B2Core CRM, providing single sign-on capabilities. Once users are logged into the B2Core mobile application, they can directly access the BBP iOS app without the need to re-enter their credentials.

Account Management and Easy Access to Balance Data

Multi-account functionality is a crucial feature of the B2Trader platform. With the BBP iOS app, traders can switch between accounts and start trading from any of them immediately. The app offers a clear overview of available and on-hold funds for each account in the Account Details screen, providing an instant balance snapshot for traders.

Flexible Market Screen and Comprehensive Orders

The app features a convenient Market screen with an intuitive trading interface, accessible via the Markets button on the Account details screen. Users can view customisable real-time charts, switch between candle and line charts, and access historical price data. The screen also includes three tabs for quick access to trading and account information: Order Book, Open Orders, and Balances.

In terms of order types, the app supports the same options as the web version: IOC and FOK for market orders and IOC, FOK, GTC, GTD and Day for limit orders. The Orders section is comprehensive, containing information on order types, prices, quantities, and execution times, while advanced filters help traders efficiently find specific orders, streamlining order management.

Customisation and Themes

The B2Trader iOS mobile app, as a part of the turnkey solution, empowers brokers to personalise the platform’s colours and themes to align with their web design and branding, ensuring a consistent user experience across both web and mobile trading platforms. Additionally, the app provides light and dark themes, allowing traders to choose their preferred mode for optimal viewing and trading.
